Hello and thank you for your support. It is an honor to serve as your representative in the California State Assembly.

Over the last two years, my top priorities have been economic recovery, local economic development, and community well being. Whether its protecting our small businesses, standing up for local government, improving access to quality education, opposing cuts that threaten public safety, or providing compassionate and responsive constituent services, I have been an effective advocate for our 80th Assembly District communities.

Now, for the first time in many years, state level attention is focused on the issues and opportunities of our region. Making the most our plentiful clean, renewable energy sources, while ensuring our people have the skills to work in these emerging fields, and addressing the condition of the New River are just two examples of opportunities to both stimulate local economic development and improve our quality of life.

Working in partnership with community stakeholders and local government, I have been able to elevate local priorities to get the job done.

It goes without saying that California has experienced many challenges these last few years, and people's lives have been turned upside down by unemployment, foreclosure, and cuts to our children's schools. We are not yet out of the storm.

My record demonstrates my commitment to hard work and service to others. With your support, I will continue to meet our state’s challenges head on, focusing on our shared values.
